What are cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds found in the Cannabis sativa plant. Of over 480 different compounds present in the plant, only around 66 are termed cannabinoids. The most well known among these compounds is the delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC), which is the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.
What is CBD oil?

CBD hemp oil is made from high-CBD, low-THC hemp, unlike medical marijuana products, which are usually made from plants with high concentrations of psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Will CBD get me high?

No, CBD will not get you high. Cannabidiol is 100% non-psychoactive and does not generate any kind of “high” or negatively impact your thought process.

What is the difference between Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum?

Full Spectrum contains THC while Broad Spectrum does not. Broad Spectrum extracts contain multiple cannabinoids that produce what is called the Entourage Effect. The Entourage Effect happens when many compounds within the hemp plant interact with the human body to produce a stronger influence than any one of those compounds alone. It’s a synergistic effect.

What is Delta-8?

Delta-8 is a federally legal form of THC derived from hemp. Delta-8 may not be legal in your state. It produces a high effect and may cause you to fail a drug test.

Does Planta Verde have THC in their products?

Some of our products contain less than 0.3% Δ9-THC. All other products contain 0% Δ9-THC. Delta-8 products contain Delta-8-THC.

Will Planta Verde CBD products cause me to fail a drug test?

The consumption of some of our CBD products containing THC may lead to a false positive on a drug test. We advise seeking advice from your employer and/or doctor if this is of concern.

Can I take Planta Verde products with prescription medication?
As with any supplement, we suggest consulting your physician.
